Job Description
- Respond to and manage inbound or outbound phone calls for new and existing customers
- Respond to and manage Email and on-line queries and requests
- Quickly build rapport and manage customer interactions effectively
- Use problem determination and potentially troubleshooting skills to quickly determine the needs of the customer (position dependent)
- Answer or resolve customer issues as quickly as possible, with a minimum of transfer or callbacks
- Transfer and refer customers smoothly if required, without disruption of the interaction
- Participate in all training classes and departmental meetings
- Accurately and thoroughly document all interactions and transactions
- Adhere strictly to scripts and procedures
- Develop expertise in company-specific hardware as well as software applications
- Perform data entry as required
- Work effectively with diverse cultural groups
- Schedule follow-ups and meet all timeframes
- Meet production and quality assurance goals
- Plan and manage personal workload
- Maintain acceptable attendance and adherence to work schedule, as set out by supervisors
- Assist in testing and evaluation of new products and systems
- Perform additional duties that may be assigned by management
Job requirements
- Computer skills, including Windows, MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English. Additional language skills a plus.
- GED or equivalent. BS/BA or equivalent a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task, follow direction, and adhere to specified timeframes
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
- 1-2 years experience in customer facing environment a plus
